UNM’s Ana Tsitlidze extends greetings to Mikheil Saakashvili from UNM’s 13th Congress
The United National Movement (UNM) party is holding the 13th Congress. One of the UNM leaders, Ana Tsitlidze, opened the Congress.
She extended greetings to the UNM founder, jailed ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili.
“I would like to extend my greetings to the individual who is the architect of the modern Georgian state, who achieved the impossible in nine years, transforming an impoverished, devastated country into a free, strong Georgia with a bright future, and it is precisely this that the Russian occupation regime cannot forgive him. This is why he is behind bars. I would like to greet Georgia’s Third President, UNM founder and its unconditional leader, Mikheil Saakashvili,” she said.
The attendees of the congress greeted Ani Tsitlidze’s speech with chants of “Misha, Misha!” Additionally, Mikheil Saakashvili’s mother, Giuli Alasania, is attending the party’s congress.
