The United National Movement (UNM) opposition party members are holding a rally outside the ruling Georgian Dream headquarters.
Participants denounce GD Chair Irakli Kobakhidze’s statements regarding the war in Ukraine, alleging “such statements serve Russian interests.”
“We should see GD members everywhere, including their residential houses, workplaces, and public places, as we did with Mdinaradze owing to his anti-state and Russian statements. They must feel that the treacherous government will end soon. This is a preparation for a large-scale, organized protest, which should finally result in a victory for the country. This triumph will be Misha’s [ex-President Saakashvili’s] liberation, as well as the Russian regime’s defeat,” UNM member Giorgi Mumladze said.
