UNM General Secretary warns of deepening sanctions into two directions
“Sanctions may deepen into two directions: First, visa restrictions might expand on other officials of the ruling team and financial sanctions may be imposed. What we have to do is make a significant change on October 26 to free Georgia from Russian chains once and forever,” said Petre Tsiskarishvili, General Secretary of the opposition United National Movement (UNM) party.
According to Petre Tsiskarishvili, Georgia has to get rid of the Georgian Dream, Bidzina Ivanishvili’s regime and head to the West, European integration and deepen strategic partnership and relations with the US.
Asked about Georgia’s Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence, Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken said: “We have taken an action to manifest those concerns and I think you are likely to see more of that.”
