UNM deems limiting right of visits to ex-president as full isolation

Limiting the right of visits by members of parliament to ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili means his full isolation, said Khatia Dekanoidze, a member of the United National Movement (UNM) party.

Khatia Dekanoidze deemed the decision of Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili as “grave.”

“If this has to do with violation of security measures and tightening security, it means admitting that security measures were not observed and the statements of the toxicologist made at the court trial,” she said.

Dekanoidze inquired what kind of threat Saakashvili’s children or co-mates represented to the ex-president or the government.
