UNM chairman elections to be held on January 28-29

The United National Movement’s political council decided to hold the election of the party’s chairman on January 28-29, 2023, Koba Nakopia, chair of the Political Council, told reporters.

According to him, the UNM Political Council members were unanimous in their support for this issue.

The elections, he claims, will be held through the Blockchain system.

“Candidate registration will end on Tuesday, after which no additional candidates may be registered,” Nakopia stated.

Furthermore, Koba Nakopia stated that democratic processes are taking place within the party, which would strengthen it further.

“No one should have the illusion that the National Movement is being dissolved. This is a normal, democratic process, that will further strengthen the National Movement and will lead to its complete victory in the next elections”, he said.
