According to the party, Bokuchava and other UNM leaders are in Ukraine to mark the occasion.

“We congratulate Ukraine on its Independence Day and salute the resilient, fighting spirit of its people. Ukraine has become a symbol of struggle for the free world, and we are convinced it will also become a symbol of victory. Ukraine will win, Georgia will win, and we will not allow the traitor Ivanishvili to leave Georgia in ruins. Ivanishvili’s traitorous regime cannot come to Ukraine.

We are here on behalf of the United National Movement and President Mikheil Saakashvili to express the support and solidarity of the Georgian people with the Ukrainian nation and its democratically elected government.
