UNM Chair to call on people to join Tuesday protest on Rustaveli Avenue

Chairman of the opposition United National Movement (UNM) party Nika Melia called on people to join the protest planned for Tuesday evening at the Parliament building on the main Rustaveli Avenue of Tbilisi.

Nika Melia praised supporters and citizens rallying at Justice Ministry amid police presence, saying the demonstrations would expand to several locations.

The UNM leader declared the opposition has questions to Justice Minister Rati Bregadze regarding jailed ex-president’s transfer to the N18 Gldani prison infirmary.
