UNM Chair says ex-president to be involved in all major decisions

“Victory Platform was formed around ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili and he will be involved in taking all major decisions and will play a decisive factor in defeating Bidzina Ivanishvili (founder of the Georgian Dream party),” said Levan Khabeishvili, Chair of the United National Movement (UNM) party.

According to Khabeishvili, cooperation in the Victory Platform is based on equality. He underscored that superiority or subordination did not matter and the key objective was serving people and resolution of their problems.

“This is the platform of victory and we will persuade each person that the power to defeat the Russian oligarch is in people’s hands. Nobody wants the Russian government in this country, people want our European future and all public polls show that European future has the support of no less than 90%,” Khabeishvili said.

Victory Platform was established several days ago with the unification of the United National Movement (UNM) and Strategy Aghmashenebeli parties.
