The parliamentary majority MP Rati Ionatamishvili believes the United National Movement and European Georgia party never wanted to reach an agreement.

“Everyone could convince,” Ionatamishvili responded to the statement of UNM Levan Bezhashvili, who said the fifth round of talks has no prospects, as the Georgian Dream has an impregnable position.

The ruling party MP also assessed the statement of Girchi member Iago Khvichia. He told journalists that the opposition admits no fraud in the parliamentary elections and lack of international partners’ support in their inner conversations.

“The United National Movement and European Georgia seem to have been most threatened by the new opposition parties since the parliamentary elections because the parliamentary boycott was aimed at damaging their reputation and nothing else,” the parliamentary majority member told reporters.
