A sister of unlawfully detained Georgian citizen Mamuka Chkhikvadze says she has no information about her brother.

Mamuka Chkhikvadze, a former law-enforcer, was detained by Russian occupation forces near Zemo Nikozi village on December 12.

“I want my brother to be released and return home safe and sound. Our family does not plan to organize rallies. We want him to be alive,” she said.

The State Security Service of Georgia (SSG) reported a hotline activated through the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) in Georgia. Co-Chairmen of the Geneva International Discussions are notified about the fact.
