Unity - National Movement's Vashadze: Standing with people, fighting until Georgia is freed from self-proclaimed Russian regime

“We are protesting, standing with the people, and will fight to the end,” declared Giorgi Vashadze, a Unity–National Movement leader.

According to Vashadze, the opposition’s strategy aims to isolate from the democratic world those who commit violence against citizens, falsify the public will, and serve Russian interests.

“Ask the self-proclaimed Georgian Dream about its plans. They must clearly state their intentions. We are determined to protest, stand with the people, and fight until Georgia is freed from the self-proclaimed Russian regime. We aim to hold new elections and accelerate Georgia’s integration into the European Union. This is our direction.

Our strategy focuses on isolating criminals who harm citizens, falsify the people’s will, and align with Russian interests,” Vashadze explained.

He also referenced a statement by GYLA, emphasizing the need for accountability: “Those responsible for violently suppressing peaceful demonstrators must face justice at the Hague tribunal. This will happen. Evidence is already being collected. Beyond sanctions, international criminal responsibility awaits those anti-Georgians who treat their own citizens this way.”
