Unity-National Movement's Vashadze calls for taking ink, spraying it in scammers face
“We should all take ink and spray it in the faces of scammers wherever we see them,” said Giorgi Vashadze, one of the leaders of the Unity-National Movement coalition remaking on the incident in the Central Election Commission (CEC).
Giorgi Vashadze thanked Davit Kirtadze for his move in response to those who allegedly rigged elections.
“The written results have no legitimacy. We should all take ink and spray it in the faces of fraudsters wherever we see them and this is the plan. Those who are rallying here applauded. Kalandarishvili (CEC Chair) and those sitting next to him represent a shame for the country and society should respond to all scammers,” Vashadze stated.
Davit Kirtadze, a member of the Unity-National Movement coalition sprayed paint at Giorgi Kalandarishvili, Chairman of the Georgian Election Commission (CEC) during the sitting where CEC is set to endorse the summarizing report of the October 26 parliamentary elections results.
Opposition representatives and civic activists are protesting outside the CEC building parallel to the sitting. They claim the elections were mass rigged.
