Unity-National Movement's Manjgaladze urges PM Kobakhidze: Leaving power is not end of life
Paata Manjgaladze from the Unity-National Movement leadership, asserted that the government is in such a dire state ahead of the upcoming October 26 elections that it can offer the public nothing but intimidation.
“For the upcoming elections on October 26, the government is in such poor condition and has such low approval ratings that they can provide the people with nothing except intimidation and suppression.
Their fears are the result of 12 years of mismanagement, during which they have failed to take action and have intentionally obstructed the country’s EU aspirations.
Naturally, this situation causes them to worry about facing accountability once they are out of power.
I urge Kobakhidze not to fear leaving the power; it is not the end of life. Our aim is not to divide or confront Georgia, nor to promise retribution. We reject the rhetoric of confrontation and hatred.
We will succeed through unity and prosperity, aligning ourselves with Europe, not through the Georgian Dream of poverty,” Manjgaladze concluded.
