Unity-National Movement requests withdrawal of parliamentary list from CEC

The Unity-National Movement has submitted a formal request to the Central Election Commission (CEC) to withdraw its parliamentary list.

Lasha Parulava, a member of the UNM’s political council, emphasized that the ‘party rejects any association with the Russian parliament’.

“In Strasbourg, the chair of the United National Movement, Tina Bokuchava, publicly announced that we are withdrawing the party list. Accordingly, we have submitted a written request to the CEC to withdraw it immediately. We refuse to legitimize this process and will continue our fight for change. We demand new elections that are transparent, with oversight from our partners to ensure fairness,” Parulava stated.
