Ukraine's FM is grateful to Swiss and Georgian counterparts, as well as other countries, for defending UN Charter and Helsinki Principles

“I am personally grateful to my Swiss and Georgian counterparts, Ignacio Cassis and Maka Botchorishvili, for their leadership, and to all countries who clearly stood up today in defence of the UN Charter and Helsinki Principles,” Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha posted on social media.

He noted that, at Ukraine’s request, a special joint meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council and the Forum for Security Cooperation was held today in Vienna.

Sybiha appreciated the swift response from both the Swiss Chairmanship of the OSCE and the Georgian Chairmanship of the Forum for Security Cooperation in convening the meeting.

“This joint meeting addressed Russia’s massive missile and drone attacks against Ukraine, as well as Moscow’s latest threats. OSCE Participating States clearly condemned Russian terror and reaffirmed their strong commitment to continue supporting Ukraine.

Despite Moscow’s attempts to intimidate our state and foreign diplomats, the international community firmly stands with Ukraine. I value all messages of genuine solidarity and support, as well as the swift response of the Swiss OSCE Chairpersonship and the Georgian Chairpersonship of the Forum for Security Co-operation in convening this meeting.

I am personally grateful to my Swiss and Georgian counterparts, Ignacio Cassis and Maka Botchorishvili, for their leadership, and to all countries who clearly stood up today in defence of the UN Charter and Helsinki Principles,” Andrii Sybiha shared on the social media X.
