UK State Minister urges Georgian Parliament not overturn veto and withdraw foreign influence legislation

“The Great Britain supports President Salome Zourabichvili’s veto of Georgia’s foreign influence legislation”, Nus Ghani, the State Minister of the United Kingdom for Europe wrote on the social network.

“The Great Britain supports President Salome Zourabichvili’s veto of Georgia’s foreign influence legislation. The law is contrary to the Georgian people’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations. I urge the Georgian parliament to heed their allies’ concerns and not overturn the veto and withdraw this legislation,” the UK Minister wrote.
