UEFA Euro 2023: Italian, Spanish clubs' managers to visit Georgia 

The transfers of Giorgi Mamardashvili [goalkeeper for La Liga club Valencia and the Georgia national team] and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia [winger for Serie A club Napoli and the Georgia national team] have significantly increased the interest in Georgian football, Levan Seturidze, the football manager told GPB First Channel on Sunday.

“You’ll witness how many club managers and scouts visit us when Euro 2023 is hosted in Georgia. I believe there will be managers and sports directors from the 10-15 clubs in Serie A. The representatives of the Spanish La Liga clubs are also planning to come,” Seturidze stated.

Levan Seturidze became a well-known football agent with the transfers he made in recent years, including Giorgi Kochorashvili [Georgian professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Spanish club CD Castellón, on loan from Levante UD], Giorgi Mamardashvili [goalkeeper for La Liga club Valencia and the Georgia national team] and Giorgi Kokhreidze [winger for Grenoble].

According to UEFA’s decision, the 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship will be co-hosted by Romania and Georgia. Romania will host the opening match, while Georgia will host the final.
