UAE Trade Minister: UAE and Georgia continue to deepen economic partnership
The UAE and Georgia continue to build a dynamic economic partnership, underpinned by our Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi said in a post on the social media platform X.
Al Zeyoudi said he had discussed opportunities to strengthen economic ties between the two countries with Mariam Kvrivishvili, Georgia’s Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.
“The UAE and Georgia continue to build a dynamic economic partnership, underpinned by our Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. Our non-oil trade reached $782.1mn in 2025, up 20.9% YoY and nearly four times its 2019 level. I met Mariam Kvrivishvili, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, to discuss how we can build on this momentum and expand trade and investment across priority sectors, including logistics, tourism, real estate and renewable energy,” Al Zeyoudi wrote.
The bilateral meeting between Kvrivishvili and Al Zeyoudi took place during the Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development’s working visit to the United Arab Emirates.
