Russia will try to use activities in Georgia for destabilization. However, Georgian public is well aware of these risks – U.S. Ambassador Kelly Degnan said.

Degnan said that the U.S. was helping Georgian population to distinguish incorrect information and misinformation from reality.

“Russia somewhat established the scheme for interference and Georgia is a target,” Degnan said. She claimed that generally, the environment was polarized in Georgia and Russia would attempt to use its activities for destabilization.
