Two fires have broken out in Georgia, in Shavnabada forest, Khulo Municipality, and Kareli, Shida Kartli, MIA Emergency Management Service reported on Sunday.

The Kareli fire, which destroyed four houses, has been localized. No one was injured in the incident, the agency noted.

Firefighters are still battling the Shavnabada forest fire.

As for Borjomi Municipality where a forest fire broke out on August 19, the agency said: “the fire suppression has reached its final stage.”
