Two factions dissolve if Parliament suspends MP authority to Lelo and Girchi-More Freedom leaders

Two parliamentary factions will dissolve if the supreme legislative body suspends MP authority to Lelo party leader Mamuka Khazaradze and Girchi-More Freedom leader Zurab Japaridze.

The Lelo and Strategy Aghmashenebeli have seven members in each faction that is a minimum requirement. If Khazaradze and Japaridze leave, the factions would automatically dissolve.

The parliamentary Procedural Issues Committee backed suspension of MP mandates to Mamuka Khazaradze and Zurab Japaridze on November 15.
