Officers from the Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia (MIA) have arrested two individuals in separate operations for the alleged possession and distribution of large quantities of drugs, including methadone and Alpha-PVP.
“During searches of the suspects and their residences, as well as from various other locations, law enforcement officers seized a particularly large quantity of narcotics as evidence, including methadone and Alpha-PVP,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated.
The investigation is being conducted under Articles 260 and 260(4) of the Criminal Code, which carry a penalty of up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
