Turkish Defense Ministry confirms 20 servicemen aboard crashed military plane
There were 20 servicemen on board the military transport plane that crashed on Georgian territory, according to Azerbaijani media, which cited the Turkish Ministry of Defense as the source.
The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the Turkish military aircraft, flying in the Azerbaijan–Turkey direction, crashed in the Sighnaghi municipality, approximately five kilometers from the Georgian border.
As reported by Sakaeronavigatsia, both Ganja Airport and the Turkish authorities have been informed about the incident. Additionally, the Turkish Ministry of Defense has confirmed that a Turkish C-130 transport aircraft crashed on the Georgia–Azerbaijan border.
