Tsotne Ivanishvili: Situation of any prisoner is painful, especially for young people

Tsotne Ivanishvili,  the youngest son of the Georgian Dream founder, Bidzina Ivanishvili, said that the situation of any prisoner is painful for everyone, especially when it concerns young people.

Speaking to journalists at the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi during the Day of Family Purity and Respect for Parents, Ivanishvili commented on questions regarding the possible pardoning of certain prisoners.

“I also feel regret about these facts. Beyond that, it is not for me to judge — this is decided by the relevant institutions and the government. I feel concern about these cases, but it is not my decision; it must be ensured by the appropriate structures,” he said.
