Tskneti-Betania Road to be opened on June 29

Tskneti-Betania Road, which was ruined during the June 13, 2015 deadly flooding, will be opened on June 29 – Municipal Development Fund reports.

Construction works continued during 14 months and the project cost 26 million GEL. Asphalt cover is being placed. Caucasus Road Project Company is carrying out the works.

Sensors were installed to detect geological processes in the mountains and the road will be blocked if an alarming signal is received.
