Train en-route Kutaisi-Batumi derailed

The train en-route Kutaisi-Batumi derailed in 150 meters from Kutaisi Railway Station this afternoon.

According to the journalist of First Channel, the passengers have already left the train. They accuse the railway administration of irresponsibility and say that they have to walk a big distance with heavy bags.

Representatives of the police are present at the incident site. Vakhtang Davituliani, Deputy Director of Railway Station said in an interview with First Channel that an employee of the station had switched the rails incorrectly and that he would be held responsible.
