Traffic restrictions announced near Dinamo Arena ahead of Kanye West concert on June 12

In connection with the Kanye West concert scheduled for June 12 at the Dinamo Arena, the Tbilisi Metro, as well as buses N306, N308, N315, N320, N311, N327, N351, N381, N384, and N386, will operate on extended hours and serve passengers until 02:00 on June 13, Tbilisi City Hall has announced.

As for traffic, from 07:00 on June 12, movement will be restricted on the streets surrounding the stadium. The initial restrictions will apply to Slava Metreveli and Giorgi Tsabadze streets, where access will be limited to the main entrances of the Dinamo Arena. During this period, vehicles will be able to use surrounding streets.

From 13:00 on June 12 to 02:00 on June 13, traffic will be fully restricted on Akaki Tsereteli Avenue—from the area near Tsereteli Metro Station to the intersection of Mikheil Tsinamdzgvrishvili and Giorgi Tsabadze streets; and on Davit Kipiani Street—from Kutaisi Street to the intersection of Shota Iamanidze Alley. Vehicles will also be unable to access Tsereteli Avenue via Poti and Batumi streets.

During this period, full traffic restrictions will also apply to Debi Ishkhneleli (Vladimir Mayakovsky), Giorgi Tsabadze, Shota Iamanidze Alley, Archil Kurdiani, Slava Metreveli, Poti, Batumi, and Pipia streets.

Partial restrictions will apply on the following road sections: Davit Aghmashenebeli Avenue—from the Tsabadze intersection to Tamar Mepe Avenue; Tsinamdzgvrishvili Street—from Tamar Mepe Avenue to the Tsabadze Street intersection; Tevdore Mghvdeli Street in the direction of Abastumani Street; and Gori and Batumi streets in the direction of Tsereteli Avenue.

In addition, Poti Street will be partially closed—from the intersection with Batumi Street to Tsereteli Avenue. Access to Tsereteli Avenue from Pipia, Batumi, and Gori streets will be restricted. Traffic will also be temporarily restricted from the left bank of the Mtkvari River toward Tsabadze Street.

From Vakhushti Bagrationi Street, traffic will be allowed by turning left toward Tsereteli Avenue and onto Tevdore Mghvdeli Street. Movement from Tsereteli Avenue toward Kutaisi Street will remain possible, as well as from Kutaisi Street by turning right onto Davit Kipiani Street and crossing the Vakhushti Bagrationi Bridge. From Queen Tamar Avenue, access to Tsereteli Avenue will be available via General Giorgi Kvinitadze Street, the left bank of the Mtkvari River, and Vakhushti Bagrationi Street. From Tsereteli Avenue to Tsinamdzgvrishvili Street, access will be possible via Kutaisi Street toward the embankment, then via Kvinitadze Street and Queen Tamar Avenue.

As for public transport, buses and minibuses will be diverted to Kutaisi Street, from where they will continue via Vakhushti Bagrationi Bridge, Giorgi Saakadze Square, Konstantine Gamsakhurdia Avenue, and from Heroes Square they will follow their usual routes.
