Traffic forbidden on Kala-Ushguli section

Due to avalanche hazards, traffic is forbidden for all types of vehicles on the Kala-Ushguli section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili secondary road.

Special equipment is monitoring the situation on the ground, the Mayor of Mestia Municipality of Svaneti region, Kapiton Zhorzholiani, said on Monday.

Mayor added that the snow removal vehicles are cleaning the internal roads. The power supply has already been restored.
