Traffic banned on Vaziani-Gombori-Telavi road following rockfall

A rockfall has occurred at the 26th kilometer of the Vaziani-Gombori-Telavi road, the Roads Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure said.

According to the department, all vehicle traffic has been prohibited on the affected section.

“Rock material has fallen onto the 26th kilometer of the Vaziani-Gombori-Telavi state road. As a result, all types of motor vehicle traffic are temporarily prohibited on the section until the necessary measures are carried out,” the statement said.
