Georgian basketball player Tornike Shengelia says goodbye to his now-former team, Spanish Baskonia, and publishes a farewell letter on his Instagram page.
“I do not know where to start and I think that no matter what I say, I still can not fully express what I feel about this city and these people. From the very first day, you accept me as your own and expressed great love to me and my family,” Shengelia wrote. “I want to thank all my teammates and coaches with whom I have spent the last six years. “Vitoria” will always be in my heart.”
Shengelia continues his career in CSKA Moscow. Information about this has already been posted on the official website of the Russian club. CSKA published Shengelia’s statement: “I am excited to join the Euroleague champions and looking forward to playing with an amazing group of players and coaching staff”.
