Tobacco Control Alliance says law incompletely implemented

Tobacco Control Alliance said that according to the results of the last 11 months of monitoring, the implementation of the Tobacco Control Law, is incomplete and needs constant control.

As the Alliance claims, one part of the hospitality business allows guests and clients to use electronic cigarettes indoors.

The population should be reminded of the tobacco control regulations constantly; information campaign needs to be more active, healthy lifestyle should be promoted. Smoking should be prohibited at stadiums and sports competitions. Citizens should be involved in enforcement of the law.

“We hope that in 2023, caring about the public’s health and interests will be the government’s priority, and by implementing an intensive information policy and enhanced monitoring, we will be able to ensure that the society can live in the safest possible environment,” Tobacco Control Alliance said.
