Tina Bokuchava absent from UNM political council meeting due to being away from Tbilisi, says Ana Tsitlidze
“The Political Council must deliberate on the date of the upcoming congress, the procedure for holding it, and determine the delegates who will be represented and entitled to vote at the congress,” stated United National Movement member Ana Tsitlidze.
Tsitlidze clarified that the congress itself will then need to elect a temporary governing body, which will be vested with specific powers for a defined period.
“This temporary governing body will work alongside the Reforms Council, an external party body, which it has also been announced will be headed by Nanuka Zhorzholiani,” noted Ana Tsitlidze.
Furthermore, Tsitlidze stated that, according to her information, Tina Bokuchava is currently not in Tbilisi, which is why she is not attending the Political Council meeting.
“I was in contact with Tina Bokuchava, and I know that she is not in Tbilisi. That is the information I have,” Ana Tsitlidze told journalists.
