Tbilservice Group fleet expanded with nearly 40 specialised vehicles

Tbilisi’s municipal waste management company, Tbilservice Group, is continuing to upgrade its specialised fleet to improve cleaning standards across the capital. The service has just added nearly 40 new vehicles and items of machinery from various manufacturers.

According to Tbilisi City Hall, Mayor Kakha Kaladze unveiled the new fleet to the public. He emphasised that maintaining the city’s cleanliness cannot rely on human effort alone. He added that continuous technical modernisation remains an ongoing priority.

“Our beautiful capital has much to boast of. It is a city where past, present, and future meet. Tbilisi reflects Georgian culture and our nation’s rich history. Consequently, maintaining and caring for this city is both a supreme honour and a profound responsibility.

At the same time, Tbilisi is a growing and developing modern city. New districts and public spaces are emerging, the resident population is growing, and tourist numbers are increasing year after year. That is precisely why, alongside the city’s development, maintaining it and ensuring its cleanliness becomes all the more critical.

For Tbilisi to meet the standards of a clean city, the Tbilservice Group fleet must continuously evolve. The machinery responsible for keeping the city clean must be upgraded and reinforced. Achieving this through human resources alone is impossible. We require modern, reliable equipment operating daily to serve the citizens living in our city,” noted Kakha Kaladze.

During his address, the Mayor thanked the head of Tbilservice Group and every member of its staff for their tireless efforts.

“A clean and well-maintained city is a continuation of the culture that Tbilisi and its residents have always held dear. We are a hospitable people, and getting to know a city begins in its streets. Tbilisi’s cleanliness is a mirror of our daily life and the environment in which we shape the future for our families and our nation.

I would like to thank every employee and the management of Tbilservice Group for their selfless work. Most importantly, Tbilisi must preserve that distinct identity and quality of life that its residents take pride in and that visitors remember. A clean, orderly, and well-kept environment is an integral part of Tbilisi’s culture, and we will do everything to preserve it now and in the future,” stated the Mayor.

Over the past eighteen months, GT Group LLC and Tegeta LLC have supplied the municipality with 60 units of high-standard, certified specialised vehicles valued at over 23 million GEL.

Out of an additional seven units procured, two specialised vehicles of the Sagmoto brand have already arrived in the capital, while the remaining five Ford units are scheduled to arrive in Tbilisi in 2027. The value of this specific procurement totals three million GEL.

The presentation event was attended by Vice Mayor of Tbilisi Giorgi Tkemaladze, deputy mayors, Head of Tbilservice Group Giorgi Papava, Head of the Samgori District Administration Kakha Samkharadze, as well as members of the Tbilisi City Assembly and Parliament.
