Tbilisi Zoo opens new Caucasian Fauna exhibition in trial mode [Photos]
A new section of Tbilisi Zoo, the Caucasian Fauna exhibition, opened in trial mode on August 9.
According to zoo management, the official grand opening is scheduled for the autumn. However, due to high public interest, the decision was taken to allow visitors access to the completed areas straight away.
“Landscaping and development works are still ongoing across the site, including the construction of a café and a children’s educational centre. We kindly ask visitors to stick strictly to the marked paths along the enclosures and not to cross into areas cordoned off with warning signs.
Opening Times: Daily, 11:00 – 19:00 (Ticket office closes at 18:00).
Address: 1 Tbilisi Zoo Waterfront (near Tbilisi Sea, adjacent to Ivertubani).
Entrance: Accessible from the end of Khudadov Street,” read the statement released by zoo management.
