The Tbilisi TV Tower was illuminated in blue to mark International Colon Cancer Awareness Month, the Tbilisi City Hall reported. This initiative is part of the annual information campaign supported by the National Screening Center.

Eter Kiguradze, Director of the National Screening Center, said the activity serves a dual purpose: showing solidarity with patients and reminding citizens of the importance of timely screening. Citizens aged 50 to 70 are encouraged to undergo free colon cancer screening to protect their health.

The tower lighting was carried out with the support of Tbilservice Group LLC, in the National Screening Center’s colors. Citizens interested in registering for screening can contact the center at 2 20 35 35, or visit its branches in Saburtalo (M. Aleksidze N1), Didube (Ak. Tsereteli N69), Varketili (Kaloubani N12), and Gldani (IV microdistrict N113 A).
