Tbilisi named among Google’s top trending global destinations for 2026

The capital of Georgia has ranked among the world’s top trending travel destinations for 2026, according to search data and international traveller survey results compiled by Google, the National Tourism Administration has reported.

“When searching Google for the phrase ‘2026 most trendy destination,’ Tbilisi, Georgia, features prominently among the top destinations, highlighted for its rich historical heritage, vibrant arts scene, and culinary culture.

Other sought-after destinations trending on Google search include Madeira (Portugal), Chicago (USA), Quy Nhon (Vietnam), and Puerto Escondido (Mexico),” the press release noted.
