Tbilisi Mayor visits Monk Andria Foundation

“The greatest joy and gift that the New Year can bring us is the well-being of each of you. I wish you health and a happy childhood,” said Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze while congratulating the children of the Monk Andria Foundation on the upcoming New Year.

The mayor, together with his wife Anuki Areshidze, toured the Foundation’s facilities, including spaces adapted for children’s rehabilitation, and presented New Year’s gifts to the children.

“The guests were welcomed by the founder of the Foundation, Mother Tinatin. Kakha Kaladze pledged full support to the Monk Andria Foundation, and the organization’s representatives appointed Anuki Areshidze as the Foundation’s Goodwill ambassador,” the statement said.

The Monk Andria Foundation selflessly supports children suffering from leukaemia and solid tumours in their treatment and rehabilitation.

“Currently, the charity cares for 42 children, including children from the occupied territories,” Tbilisi City Hall noted.
