Tbilisi Mayor says current government serves people's interests, keeps peace
“Georgia has a government, which does Georgian tasks and protects the population’s interests. Today, as never before, the country needs peace and progress,” said Kakha Kaladze, Tbilisi Mayor.
Tbilisi Mayor remarked on Bidzina Ivanishvili’s (GD Founder and Honorable Chair) statements at the pre-election campaign opening.
“Very significant messages were made on the part of the ruling party focusing on the current situation, challenges and threats. We can openly say that there are forces, which still wish to open a second front in our country. Georgia has a government, that does Georgian tasks and protects the population’s interests despite pressure and menace and this attitude will stay. We will preserve and lead a pragmatic policy. Today, as never before, our country needs peace, economic development and progress,” he said.
