Tbilisi Mayor says any party, individual, group enjoys freedom of expression

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said everyone is free to express viewpoints within the law when remarking on the opposition’s plans.

“We see what these people represent and who they are. However, any party, individual or group has the right to freedom of expression within the framework of the law,” he said.

Speaking about election fraud allegations, Tbilisi Mayor said that the opposition politicians lack evidence and “blame everybody but themselves for the defeat.”

“If they have any evidence, before submitting it to the prosecutor’s office, they should show it to the people and present it to them, maybe the public will see what evidence they are speaking about,” Kaladze stated.
