Tbilisi Mayor says Anaklia Port Project faces no threat

“Anaklia Port Project was doomed to failure from the beginning and Khazaradze-Japaridze (co-founders of Anaklia Development Consortium) failed to complete it,” said Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze.

According to the Tbilisi Mayor, the Anaklia Port project faces no threat and will be implemented.

“Anaklia Port Project faces no threat and will be implemented. The project faced a threat when it was in the hands of Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaride. There were many questions from the beginning, talks that these people would not be able to implement the project and that it was doomed to failure.

Nevertheless, the government postponed the terms and allowed them to complete the project. They failed, but now this project will be implemented for sure. The Georgian society saw on which side the truth is,” Kaladze said.
