Tbilisi Mayor: Opposition's unification around Charter proves their shared roots
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced that he welcomes the unification of the opposition around the Georgian Charter, initiated by the Georgian President, Salome Zourabichvili.
Speaking to the media, Kaladze stated that this unification proves that these political parties are essentially one team, sharing roots.
“We are glad these political parties are now united on one platform. This confirms what we have been saying for a while: these political parties, which originated from the National Movement, might have different names, but they are essentially one team. The President’s decision confirms all of this. These parties are essentially fascists hiding behind liberalism,” Kakha Kaladze said.
