Tbilisi Mayor on European integration: Important steps taken, reforms ongoing
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, said that significant strides have been made in the journey towards European integration, and this process is ongoing. He emphasized that the Georgian government is committed to implementing reforms to ensure a better tomorrow.
“In general, important steps have been taken recently in this direction. Do you remember how it all started? Georgia deserved the status, however, due to certain reasons, it was not granted to us, and we all know what this reason was, what was the main basis of the said decision. After that, there was a so-called 12-point plan, a guide. Accordingly, everything has been done, all the instructions have been followed, and this process continues.
It is impossible to do something on the path of European integration today and stop tomorrow; this is a normal process that continues, and the government of Georgia will do everything to carry out reforms so that tomorrow will be much better than today, yesterday, etc.,” stated Kakha Kaladze.
