Tbilisi Mayor: No argument of country's moving in incorrect direction
“If the Georgian government had a different course that is not in the interests of the Georgian people, the Georgian Dream would not have been in power,” said Kakha Kaladze, Tbilisi Mayor.
Kaka Kaladze was asked by the reporters why Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze failed to persuade Uzra Zeya, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights, in good purposes and goals of the Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence.
According to Kaladze, there are no facts that Georgia is moving toward an undemocratic way.
“Whatever statements they make, there is no argument that Georgia moves in incorrect direction or undemocratic processes take place in the country, there are no such facts,” he said.
