Tbilisi Mayor meets Ambassadors of Turkiye, Brazil

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze held a farewell meeting with Ali Kaan Orbay, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkiye to Georgia, and an introductory meeting with Carlos Ricardo Martins Ceglia, Ambassador ot Brazil to Georgia.

Kakha Kaladze extended gratitude to the Ambassador of Turkiye for his contribution to Georgia-Turkiye relations and friendship.

“We will do our best to further deepen this good-neighbourly relationship. I wish you success in your future endeavours. We remain friends. Remember that you have many friends in Georgia, including me, as an ordinary Georgian,” Kaladze said.

Ali Kaan Orbay remarked that he felt “safe and cosy like home” in Tbilisi during his 4-year stay in Georgia, and wished Kaladze success in his future plans.

“I hope we will have the opportunity to meet again in different formats in the future,” the Ambassador said.

During the meeting with the Ambassador of Brazil, Kakha Kaladze expressed hope that Carlos Ricardo Martins Ceglia would contribute to the intensification of Georgia-Brazil relations.

“Due to my previous work, I have many friends in Brasilia. I really appreciate your culture and traditions. We are ready to work actively to make our relations more intense,” Kaladze said.

In this turn, the Ambassador of Brazil expressed gratitude to the Tbilisi Mayor for the meeting and emphasized that he was honored to work as a representative of his country in Tbilisi, Georgia. The sides expressed hope that their cooperation would be productive.
