Tbilisi Mayor: Georgian people to decide change of government through democratic elections
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze emphasized that any change in government should occur through democratic elections decided by the Georgian people, not by external forces.
The Mayor stated that the adopted Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence is entirely Georgian and aims to safeguard the country’s sovereignty.
“A new Georgian law has been passed to protect the country’s sovereignty and independence from foreign influences and potential coups. The law aims to create a stable environment for the people of Georgia to express their will, make informed choices, and determine the country’s future.
I have consistently emphasized that any changes in government should occur through democratic elections and not through external interference. It is the Georgian people, who decide the country’s leadership,” Kaladze said.
