Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze congratulated the Georgian population on the successful competition of the parliamentary elections.
“The elections were held peacefully, all political parties had the opportunity to lead the election campaign. The elections were held in a stable and democratic environment,” Kaladze said at the municipal government meeting.
According to the Tbilisi Mayor, the preliminary report of the OSCE/ODIHR observation mission, the elections were conducted in a competitive and peaceful environment.
“The vast majority of the population, over 1,200,000 people voted for peaceful development, peace and progress. They expressed confidence in the Georgian Dream and thank you for your unprecedented support. Our team will lead the policy to protect national interests.
I hardly remember such support after 2012. We felt this support throughout the entire campaigning period. This support guarantees that we will overcome challenges, economic development will continue, steps will be taken towards the unification of the country, and all obligations of European integration will be fulfilled,” Kaladze said.
