Tbilisi Mayor 'frustrated' to hear Georgia be located in geopolitically uninteresting place

In a bid for Georgia to get EU candidate status, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze pledges the ruling team will continue to do its utmost. The Mayor believes the country will be granted the status shortly.

Kaladze says, “It is very disappointing to hear that Georgia is not located in a geopolitically interesting place.”

“We have been moving in this direction for 30 years, and now, if they discovered our location, it is an absolute wonder. I repeat, we should give up under no circumstances and spare no effort for our country to join Europe and the European Union,” Kaladze vowed at today’s government sitting.
