Tbilisi Mayor engages with Cartu Foundation, British consulting company representatives regarding attractions park project
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze held a working meeting with representatives of the Cartu Foundation and the British consulting company regarding the construction of an attraction and entertainment-recreational park on the Tbilisi Sea territory.
“The attractions park is a very important project. This scale of project will be the first in the region. We do not have extensive experience in this direction, and the support of leading international companies is greatly appreciated. The support of Cartu was crucial in searching for the international company. Today, in Tbilisi, there is no opportunity for a parent to take their child to a big, modern entertainment park. The society is greatly interested in this project,” Kakha Kaladze said.
Catu Foundation Director Nikoloz Chkhetiani remarked that a new recreational zone will comprise entertainment, cognitive and recreational components that will serve both Tbilisi residents and guests.
“Under our leadership, a company from Great Britain has been hired to provide relevant studies, based on which a detailed design will be prepared,” said Nikoloz Chkhetiani.
Vice Mayor Giorgi Tkemaladze, Deputy Mayor Andria Basilaia, Environment Protection Service Head Paata Togonidze, Catu Foundation Director Nikoloz Chkhetiani and representatives of the British consulting company attended the meeting.
