Tbilisi Mayor congratulates Mariam Bebiashvili on her 101st birthday

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze visited Mariam Bebiashvili, who has turned 101 today and congratulated her on her birthday.

The Mayor wished the elderly woman good health and a long life. Mariam Bebiashvili, an engineer by profession, has been fond of assembling puzzles for the past few years.

“Happy birthday, congratulations on your 101st birthday! Your determination, brilliant mind, and hard work are a great motivation for each of us. I wish you a long life, and you can count on our support,” Kakha Kaladze said.

Mariam Bebiashvili thanked the Mayor and remarked that the secret of long life lies in constant development and striving for innovations.

“Never lose interest and desire to discover and learn something new,” she said.

In connection with the jubilee date, within the framework of the Municipality City Hall’s “One-time Assistance for Citizens Who Have Reached 100 Years of Age” program, Mariam Bebishvili will receive 10,000 GEL this year.

Tbilisi Municipal Health and Social Service head Gela Chiviashvili accompanied the Mayor during his visit.
