Tbilisi Mayor calls for strict measures for violence against City Hall employees
Kakha Kaladze, the mayor of Tbilisi, addressed the issue of frequent incidents of physical violence against City Hall employees on duty. Speaking at a meeting of the Tbilisi Municipality Government, Kaladze emphasized the need for a strict legal response to such cases.
He instructed the vice-mayor, Irakli Khmaladze, to collaborate with relevant agencies and implement the strictest measures within the law in response to these incidents.
Kaladze expressed his support for City Hall employees and condemned physical violence, highlighting the importance of maintaining order and respect in society, irrespective of political views. He called for unity in ensuring a better city for everyone.
“I would like to express my full support to each of our employees who serve this city with dignity and professionalism. Physical violence is wrong and categorically unacceptable, and such people who physically assault our employees while performing their duties must be punished strictly,” said Kakha Kaladze.
